How would my staff see the orders coming through?

We use a Kanban board that indicates which stage the order is at:

  • New order
  • In progress
  • Ready for delivery or collection
  • Completed or declined

When a new order is placed through Qbunk, the app background colour changes to green. You can tap on the screen to accept it and mark it as done when it’s ready for delivery.

Can I do refunds through Qbunk?

Yes, you can do a refund on any completed order via the Qbunk app on your tablet.

How much training would it take my staff to start using Qbunk?

The Qbunk app is very straightforward and easy to use. At all our current partner venues, the staff were able to start using Qbunk pretty much right away. Nevertheless, we deliver a one-hour training and do a test run at your venue before the launch.

How much does it cost to use Qbunk?

At the moment, we offer free trials to pubs, bars and restaurants in the North West. Enjoy using Qbunk completely free for the first month! We are testing different subscription models; currently it is £85 per month after the trial period.

We do not charge venues any commission of the order value, however there is a small fee associated with using Stripe (European cards: 1.4% + 20p, Non-European cards: 2.9% + 20p).

Are there any fees associated with the onboarding?

No - the onboarding and setup are absolutely free.

Please note that if the Wi-Fi connection isn't strong enough at the venue, we will need to add a Wi-Fi booster box which costs £107.50 +VAT. This will provide your customers with a faster way to order more drinks. With a more reliable Wi-Fi service, your staff will be able to receive the orders as soon as they are placed. This is a one-time purchase, and your venue will own the hardware.

Does Qbunk charge our customers?

Qbunk adds a 10% fee to any order. After extensive research and multiple trials, this fee has proven to be small enough and encourage customers to use Qbunk.

What is Stripe and why do we need it?

Stripe is a universal platform for online payments that will allow us to accept payments on your behalf and pass them on to you. Stripe powers millions of businesses in 100+ countries including global e-commerce giants like Amazon. With Stripe, we can spend less time building complex and secure payment solutions and focus on core customer experiences.

For security reasons and simplified online refunds, Stripe holds all payments for 7 days before transferring them to your bank account. The dashboard on your tablet will show that the funds are on the way and give you an estimated date when the money will be released.

How do we set up Stripe?

We will send you a link to connect Stripe with your bank. If you are already a Stripe user, simply login with your existing account. Otherwise set up a new account as a limited company or a sole trader – the process is extremely straightforward, although takes a little bit of time.

The Stripe account should be linked to your bank at least three days before our trial. The sooner you complete this step, the earlier we can start the testing on our side.
